Happy Birthday Hayden Bae Sindall

And so the second birthday celebration continues! Next came the birthday present followed by the birthday cake...

Where do you put an easel, paint, paint brushes and a two year old? According to Gary, these items only belong outside! We gave Hayden an easel and washable paints and she loved it. Disaster? That's still to be determined :)

Happy Birthday to Hayden Bae Sindall... it's amazing how much one year makes a difference. The sight of the candles and cupcake brought the biggest smile to Hayden's face and the singing of Happy Birthday made her sway back and forth. What a character. She ate her cake, shared half of it with Gare, and sang Happy Birthday to herself one time after another. I could not imagine a more perfect day with my family.

"I'm Two!"

Our little girl turned two today and I am still in shock as to how fast time has gone by...

I went in to Hayden's room this morning and I asked her what are we going to do today and she replied with "going to zoo!" Gare and I had a great time with our little girl... we spent the morning at the zoo and watched her eyes light up one second to the next as she saw all of the animals in her books come alive. She pointed to each animal, yelled out the name of the animal and she quickly followed with the animal noise. I'm not sure which was the funniest.. her beating on her chest at the gorilla exhibit or her excitement of seeing the pandas and saying "my panda!"

A different view...

Gary and I were invited to the Braves v. Mets game this past weekend and we had the most amazing seats! We were front row and just a couple feet away from the Braves dugout. Needless to say, it was an awesome experience and we had a great time.

Swing high!

Hayden loves going to the park. One of her favorite things is to swing. She tells Gary to "push her right here" and to "swing high!" I honestly think she could swing for an entire hour and not get sick of it!

Favorite Things

Hayden loves snuggling in our bed with us! She loves watching Sesame Street on the weekend and making a "tent" with the sheets. Saturday morning is a favorite time for all of us!

Hayden loves playing tea party! She likes her tea with milk and sugar just like me :)

I love the Mets!

"I pooped!"

So Hayden did her first poop in her big girl potty today and her first comment afterward was "it's a rock in there!" Followed by "five crackers!" This is what Gary has been promising her for months now :) It was in fact a very proud moment for both Gary and I!

Hayden's Birthday

So Hayden's birthday is still a couple weeks away but she's been talking about it for at least a month now! I kid you not, she mentions it once a day. It starts with this comment.. "Hayden's birthday coming out" which she means 'soon.' From there, she goes on to talk about her guest list... "Grandma, Pops, Steve, Rocky, Brett, Mandy, E, Jamie (just to name a few because the list goes on of everyone's name she knows...)" and then she names all 7 kids in her class at school plus her two teachers. After that, she talks about what we're going to eat which includes "birthday cake and chicken," which I have two comments on that: #1 Hayden doesn't like birthday cake and #2 Chicken? I mean she does like chicken but it's so strange to me that it's her #2 for foods she wants to eat on her birthday. Finally, Hayden sings "Happy Birthday" to herself. This may be the funniest part of it all. On our way to school last week, she started singing it and she sang "Happy Birthday to you (pause) Hayden".. I was cracking up in the front seat! I hope her birthday is everything she has talked and sang about and more!
