Too cute!

Hayden: "Mommy, are we going to the doctor today? I think I have a cold. I think we should go."

Gary: "Hayden, do you know how old you have to be to drive a car?"
Hayden: "Daddy, I'm almost three."

Gosh I love her!

Merry Christmas!

What an amazing Christmas! Hayden Bae tore through present after present, asked if there were more to unwrap and enjoyed every second of the holiday and all its magic. From Toy Story Bandaids, to a new dollhouse, a princess costume and a tricycle, it was hard for her to pick out her favorite gifts since she loved all of them. Thank you to our families for such a wonderful holiday and for making it so memorable and special for our little angel.

December

It's amazing how much changes over one year... last year, Hayden could barely say "Christmas" or "Santa" and this year, all she talks about are all the toys that Santa is bringing her from the North Pole. I'm not sure what is cuter... her singing Jingle Bells or her asking me "why doesn't Santa use the back door?" Good point Hayden.

Go Dawgs!

The Kents invited us to the GA v. GA Tech Game over Thanksgiving Weekend and we had a wonderful time! Hayden and Penny Pie had fun cheering on the Dawgs to victory over Tech.

Just like Mommy

Hayden loves wearing my shoes... from my high heels to my boots to my flip flops. She's all girl!

Hayden loves technology

Hayden: "Daddy, this big iPad is so much fun! I can watch Curious George, play Angry Birds and play this new ABC game!"

Happy Halloween!

Trick or treating was a completely different experience this year. Hayden loved every second of it. Here are just a couple comments from our little puppy dog...

"Let's get more chocolate!"
"Where are we going now?... just one more house Mommy!"

Our little Dalmatian

Hayden loves her Halloween costume! She picked it out herself and she has been wearing it everyday for the last couple days. I only hope that she is still excited to wear it on Halloween Day!

Sidewalk Chalk

Having some fun with a gift from the Kents...

Show and Share

Every Friday at Hayden's school is Show and Share Day - aka Show and Tell - the kids bring in one thing to show the class and they share it with their friends. Below is Hayden and I's conversation this past week on our way to school...

Hayden: "Mommy, is today show and share?"
Me: "Oh gosh.. it is. I'm sorry Hayden. I completely forgot."
Hayden: "I wish you would have brought me something."

I pretty much felt like the worst mom ever. It seriously brought a tear to my eye. Needless to say, we were able to dig up "something" from the car.

"I don't want a ponytail today"

Hayden insisted on wearing her hair down all weekend... What's funny is that she kept complaining about her hair getting in her mouth.

Burt's Pumpkin Patch

So many pumpkins! Orange ones, greenish blue ones, white ones, bumpy ones, small ones and HUGE ones! I have never seen such a variety before. Hayden was unimpressed for the most part. She was far more interested in playing with rocks for the first half hour. Kids...

Flower Girl

Gary's younger sister, Jenna, got married this past weekend and we could not be happier for her and her husband, Tom. The wedding was beautiful and the bride and groom grinned from ear to ear all evening.

Hayden Bae also debuted as a flower girl and boy was she excited! Gare and I have been telling her about her role in the wedding for the past couple weeks and we're both pretty sure that she thought the day was about her :) All she kept saying was "I'm going to be a flower girl and I'm going to wear a ballerina dress and white shoes." Hayden did wonderfully. She walked with the other little flower girl and the ring bearer all the way down the aisle. Hayden was in love with her "new friends."

Congratulations Jenna and Tom!

Early signs of road rage...

Hayden: Oh Gosh, there's a lot of traffic on the street.

Hayden: I do not want to go on the Interstate!

Hayden: This is the wrong way!

So sweet...

Hayden: Mommy, I cried when you left. I was worried about you.

Fall Morning at the Park

Why do we go to work...

Hayden: Where are you going?
Gary: To work. I have to go there to make money.
Hayden: For my piggy bank and the carousel?

This made me laugh for a good five minutes :)

Atlanta Zoo

What a great weekend for the zoo. Beautiful weather and a pretty happy toddler! Hayden absolutely loved her first ride on the carousel. Needless to say, we had to pry her little fingers off of the pole as she kicked and screamed that she was not done riding the bear!

Gosh she's funny...

Me: Do you want some carrots?
Hayden: Sometimes I like to eat carrots... I do not want them today.

Hayden: Christmas is coming soon.
Me: It is?
Hayden: Yes and Santa Claus is bringing me a bicycle!

Me: Did you sleep like a little princess?
Hayden: I'm not a princess. I'm your angel.

Hayden: Connor does not like hugs. He likes to give me kisses!

Big Huge Park

Hayden and I went to the "big huge park" this past weekend and we had a wonderful time. The girl could honestly swing for hours.

Like an Angel

Hayden: Are you hungry?
Me: Yes.
Hayden: The baby in your tummy is hungry also.

Hayden: I like your green eyes.
Gary: Thank you Hayden. I like your brown eyes.

Me: How did you sleep last night?
Hayden: Like an angel.

Sea Island 2011

Our vacation to Sea Island with the Kents and Pensos gets better and better every year! This year, we had two new, adorable additions... Penny and Sam. Hayden loved playing with them and giving them hugs and kisses. Sharing is still a bit challenging but she did great. I think she's going to be a wonderful big sis!

The beach continued to be a magical place for Hayden. She absolutely loved it. Every morning, she would say "we go to the beach now?" And she would walk around and tell everyone they need to get their bathing suit on. Hayden loved digging in the sand, building sand castles with Gary and jumping in the "big, huge" waves with Gare.

It's hard to pick out my favorite moments from the vacation as there are so many, but if I had to pick one, it was sitting on the beach and watching Hayden have the time of her life jumping and running through the tidal pools. It was magical.

Thanks again Kents for a memorable vacation!
